Specialized installation
A quality window can only be enhanced by its correct installation, otherwise major window malfunctions will occur and drastically reduce its lifespan. Installation is carried out by specialized teams and is carried out in accordance with technical catalogs. The installation materials are of the highest quality, and the constructive solutions are the most appropriate, giving the work sealing and functionality.
Advantages of a quality installation:
- significantly influences the performance and durability of the window;
- reduces home heating and cooling costs;
- prevents costly maintenance problems in the future;
- reduces outside noise;
- improves home comfort!
System 1
Classic installation
With elastic foam
Classic installation is carried out by specialized teams and is carried out according to technical catalogs for perfect thermal and sound insulation. The installation materials are of the highest quality, giving the work sealing and functionality.
System 2
Installation with foils (interior – exterior)
and closed-cell foam
Contega Solido EXO-D is a windproof, water-resistant sealing strip. Ideal for sealing external window or door joints, including the protection of any other external joints. Immediately after application of the strips, the joints are already wind and rain-resistant and can be immediately subjected to load, they can also be plastered.
Advantages:
- protects the exterior of the joint against wind and weather;
- open to diffusion;
- reduces heat loss;
- prevents condensation;
- it can be applied both before the window is installed and after;
- resistance to rain: up to 600 Pa.
Contega Solido SL-D is a plasterable adhesive tape for airtight sealing of window or door frames before installation. The tape is completely waterproof and has a permanent adhesion even on damp substrates thanks to the non-water-based SOLID adhesive.
Advantages:
- does not allow the passage of humid or warm air from inside to outside and vice versa;
- prevents condensation;
- reduces heat loss;
- it can be applied both before the window is installed and after;
- air tightness: up to 1000 Pa.
Closed-cell foam is an elastic sealing foam with high sound insulation power. It contains cells that are completely encapsulated. These cells are very compact and do not let air and moisture pass through the foam. Closed-cell foam is extremely stable over time and provides rigidity to the structure on which it is applied. The risk of condensation is minimized.
System 3
Pre-compressed
strip installation
Simple and quick installation, which considerably reduces working time. This strip has excellent thermal insulation properties.
Advantages in 3 directions:
- Interior: 100% airtight, vapor barrier that isolates the interior environment of the room from the exterior, eliminating the risk of mold in the middle layer.
- Middle: thermal and sound insulation; the layer is elastic and absorbs structural movements and expansions of the window.
- Exterior: weather protection layer. It is specially designed to stop liquid water from entering the joints. It protects against heavy rain and wind.
System 4
Installation with
insulated pre-frames
It is a new and much more efficient installation system, suitable for new constructions, especially for energy-efficient and passive houses. The pre-frames are installed on the outside of the wall. In this way, the thermal bridges around windows and doors are reduced to a minimum. The pre-frames are attached all around with a strong adhesive and screws. The window frame is placed in the pre-frame , then the gaps are filled with a special foam (closed-cell foam) and everything is sealed with sealing strips on the inside and outside.
Advantages:
- provides very good thermal and sound insulation;
- high resistance to external factors;
- due to the hard and resistant materials in their composition they do not deform over time;
- there is the possibility of extending to any size;
- are 100% recyclable.
