Class A Window
Weather resistance and long-term durability.
It guarantees an exterior wall thickness of 3 mm (± 0.2 mm) according to DIN EN 12608. Based on these European standards, PVC profiles are classified into 3 categories regarding weather resistance and long-term durability. The Class A certification of the ADF Exclusiv window indicates the highest quality and durability, offering homeowners comfort, safety, and long-term savings.
Passive Houses
High interior comfort with minimal energy consumption.
Passive houses are highly energy-efficient buildings that provide superior indoor comfort with minimal energy consumption. To achieve passive house certification, windows must be energy-efficient and feature triple glazing with a Ug value of 0.5 W/m²K and a total thermal transmittance Uw ≤ 0.8 W/m²K. The lower the coefficient, the higher the thermal efficiency. The ADF Exclusiv window meets the requirements for passive houses.
Energy Performance:
Thermal transmittance coefficient up to Uw = 0.75 W/(m²K)
The ADF Exclusiv window achieves a thermal transmittance coefficient of up to Uw = 0.75 W/(m²K). This coefficient defines the thermal transfer rate and, therefore, the insulation performance of the window. It quantifies the overall heat loss through the window. The lower the Uw value, the better the insulation, and consequently, the higher the window’s performance.
Acoustic Comfort:
Sound insulation up to 47 dB
The ADF Exclusiv window provides sound insulation of up to 47 dB. The acoustic insulation level of a window is essential for reducing external noise and creating a quiet, comfortable indoor environment. This feature is measured in decibels (dB), where higher values indicate superior soundproofing capabilities. High acoustic insulation is crucial in urban areas or near high-noise sources such as busy streets, railways, or airports.
Security:
Burglar resistance up to RC 2
The ADF Exclusiv window provides burglary resistance up to RC 2. This classification refers to the window’s ability to withstand forced entry attempts according to European standards. An RC 2 window must resist attempts by an opportunistic intruder using simple tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wedges for at least 3 minutes. The window is equipped with multiple anti-burglary locking points, strategically distributed across the frame, offering increased resistance against forced entry attempts.
Triple Glazed Insulating Glass
with DuraTherm Warm Spacer
For the ADF Exclusiv window, the glazing package can be either 60 mm or 52 mm. Since glass represents about 80% of a window’s surface, its thermal and acoustic insulation properties largely depend on the quality of the glazing. Triple glazing consists of three panes of glass, forming hermetically sealed chambers filled with inert gas (argon), joined together by a spacer bar. The role of the spacer is to ensure airtightness and reduce heat transfer between the inside and outside. For maximum performance, the spacer material must have very low thermal conductivity. All ADF windows are equipped as standard with the “warm edge” DuraTherm spacer, ensuring superior insulation.
3 Sealing Gaskets.
Enhanced Airtightness!
The sealing gaskets prevent air and water vapor from passing through the gaps between the sash and the frame. They help minimize heat loss, contributing to improved energy efficiency: keeping warmth inside during winter and coolness inside during summer. The ADF Exclusiv window is designed with 3 sealing gaskets, offering superior thermal insulation and increased comfort.
92 mm. Construction Depth
The 92 mm frame depth of the ADF Exclusiv
window represents the distance between the inner and outer face of the frame. This construction depth directly influences the window’s energy efficiency. A larger frame depth allows for the installation of a thicker glass package, thereby improving the thermal performance of the window.
2 mm Steel Reinforcement .
Standard Stability
Reinforcement involves inserting steel profiles into the PVC frame chambers to provide structural stability and long-term durability. The reinforcement consists of galvanized steel profiles, specially shaped and fixed with self-tapping screws. For the ADF Exclusiv window, we use 2 mm galvanized steel reinforcement as standard, ensuring superior rigidity and durability.
